Definition

Movements or actions taken by colonized people to resist the power and influence of imperialist nations.

Analogy

Think of anti-imperial resistance like a younger sibling standing up to an older, bossy sibling. The older sibling (imperial power) has been calling the shots, but the younger one (colonized people) decides they've had enough and starts pushing back.
