Amazon.com, Inc. is an American multinational technology company based in Seattle that focuses on e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence.

Analogy

Think of Amazon as a massive online department store. Just like a department store has different sections for electronics, clothing, home goods etc., Amazon has categories for virtually anything you can think of. And just like how some department stores have their own brands, Amazon also sells products under its own brand name.
