Definition

The Allied forces refer to countries that fought against the Axis Powers during World War II. Major Allies included Great Britain, United States, China, and Soviet Union.

Analogy

Think of a school project where several students team up to work against another group. In this scenario, the Allied forces are like your team working together to defeat or outperform the other group (the Axis Powers).
