Nominal level of measurement is the lowest level of measurement where variables are categorized into distinct groups or categories based on their characteristics or attributes.
Think about different types of fruits at a grocery store being sorted into different bins based on their names (apples, oranges, bananas). Each fruit belongs to one category without any inherent order or ranking - just like nominal level data.
Categorical Data: Categorical data refers to variables that represent categories or groups rather than numerical values. Examples include gender (male/female) or eye color (blue/brown/green).
Mode: Mode is a statistical measure that represents the most frequently occurring value in a dataset.
Frequency Table: A frequency table displays how often each category or value occurs in a dataset, providing a summary of categorical data.
