Self-esteem

Definition

Self-esteem is the subjective evaluation and perception one has about their own worthiness and value as a person.

Analogy

Imagine self-esteem as a fuel tank in your car. When it's full (high self-esteem), you feel confident and capable of taking on challenges. But when it's empty (low self-esteem), you may doubt yourself and struggle with feelings of inadequacy.
