Definition

Paella is a traditional Spanish rice dish that originated in the Valencia region. It is typically made with saffron-infused rice, vegetables, meat (such as chicken or rabbit), and/or seafood (such as shrimp or mussels).

Analogy

Think of paella as a colorful canvas where each ingredient adds its own unique brushstroke. Just like an artist carefully selects colors for their painting, the cook chooses ingredients to create a harmonious blend of flavors in paella.
