Definition

Bias refers to the tendency to favor or hold a particular perspective, opinion, or belief over others, often leading to unfairness or prejudice in decision-making.

Analogy

Imagine you and your friends are playing a game of basketball. However, one of your friends is the referee and constantly favors their own team by making biased calls. This unfairness affects the outcome of the game and prevents it from being played on an equal playing field.
