Data analysis refers to the process of inspecting, cleaning, transforming, and modeling data in order to discover useful information, draw conclusions, and support decision-making.
Think of data analysis as being like a detective investigating a crime scene. The detective carefully examines all the evidence (data), looks for patterns or clues, and uses logical reasoning to solve the case (draw conclusions).
Descriptive Statistics: Descriptive statistics involves summarizing and describing the main features of a dataset using measures such as mean, median, mode, and standard deviation.
Inferential Statistics: Inferential statistics is used to make predictions or draw conclusions about a population based on a sample of data.
Data Visualization: Data visualization is the graphical representation of data that helps in understanding patterns, trends, and relationships within the dataset.
