A bibliography, also known as a works cited page, is a list of sources that were referenced or consulted in the creation of a research paper or project. It includes all the necessary information about each source to allow readers to locate and verify the original material.
Think of a bibliography as the credits at the end of a movie. Just like how movie credits acknowledge everyone who contributed to making the film, a bibliography acknowledges all the sources that contributed to your research.
Citation: A brief reference within your text that indicates where you found specific information.
MLA Format: A set of guidelines for formatting academic papers and citing sources in Modern Language Association (MLA) style.
Annotated Bibliography: A bibliography that includes a brief summary and evaluation of each source.
