A bibliography is a list of sources (such as books, articles, and websites) that were consulted or cited in a research project.
Think of a bibliography as the credits at the end of a movie. Just like how the credits acknowledge all the people who contributed to making the film, a bibliography acknowledges all the sources that contributed to your research project.
Citation: A citation is a reference to a specific source within your text. It includes key information such as author name, title, and publication date.
Works Cited: Similar to a bibliography, a works cited page is specifically used in MLA format and lists only the sources that were directly cited in your paper.
Annotated Bibliography: An annotated bibliography goes beyond just listing sources. It also provides brief summaries or evaluations of each source's content and relevance to your research topic.
