Definition
Value refers to the importance or worth that an individual assigns to a goal or outcome. It involves both the desirability and significance of achieving a particular goal.
Analogy
Think of value as the price tag on an item in a store. Just like how we assign different values to different products based on their importance or desirability, individuals assign value to goals based on their personal preferences and aspirations.
