Think of value as the price tag on an item in a store. Just like how we assign different values to different products based on their importance or desirability, individuals assign value to goals based on their personal preferences and aspirations.
Expectancy: This term refers to the belief that one's efforts will lead to successful performance.
Intrinsic Motivation: It is the motivation that comes from within oneself, driven by internal factors such as personal enjoyment or interest in an activity.
Extrinsic Motivation: This term refers to motivation that comes from external sources, such as rewards or punishments.
