Definition
Temperature refers to the degree of hotness or coldness of an object or environment. It is a measure of the average kinetic energy of particles.
Analogy
Think of temperature as the spiciness level in food. Just like how different foods can have varying levels of spiciness, objects and environments can have different temperatures.
