Syntax refers to the rules and structure that govern how sentences are formed in a particular language.
If language is a toolbox, syntax would be like building blueprints. They guide where each tool (word) should go so that everything fits together properly and makes sense structurally.
Sentence Structure: The arrangement of words in a sentence. Like following specific steps on your blueprint to ensure stability.
Parsing: The process of analyzing a string of symbols (words), according to the rules of syntax. Similar to checking if all elements on your blueprint align correctly before proceeding with construction.
Transformational Grammar: A theory suggesting that our understanding and usage of grammar structures are innate rather than learned over time - akin to an instinctive understanding about where every part goes on your blueprint without needing explicit instructions every time.
