Definition

A statistical test is a method used by psychologists to analyze and interpret data in order to determine if there is a significant relationship or difference between variables.

Think of a statistical test like a magnifying glass that helps psychologists zoom in on the data and find patterns or differences that may not be easily visible otherwise.
