Self-Efficacy

Definition

Self-efficacy is the belief in one's ability to succeed in specific situations or accomplish a task. It plays a major role in how we approach goals, tasks, and challenges.

Analogy

Self-efficacy is like being the driver of your own car on the road to success. If you believe you can navigate through traffic (challenges), reach high speeds (achieve goals) and maintain control of the vehicle (manage tasks), then you're more likely to get where you want to go.
