Resolution Phase
Definition
The final stage in the sexual response cycle, following orgasm, during which physiological responses return to normal levels.
Analogy
Imagine resolution phase as the cool-down lap after a race. Your body gradually returns to its normal state after reaching its peak performance (orgasm).
