Definition

Problem solving is a cognitive process that involves identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems. It's the mental process we use to find solutions to challenges or obstacles.

Analogy

Think of problem-solving like being a detective. You're presented with a mystery (the problem), you gather clues (information), analyze those clues (think critically), and then come up with a solution (solve the mystery).
