Passionate love is an intense longing we feel for a person, accompanied by physiological arousal; when our love is reciprocated, we feel great fulfillment and ecstasy but when it’s not, we feel sadness and despair.
Passionate love is like a roller coaster ride at an amusement park. It's thrilling, full of ups (excitement) and downs (despair), and your heart rate definitely increases!
Infatuation: An intense but short-lived passion or admiration for someone or something.
Romantic Love: A deep emotional state characterized by its intensity where one feels a passionate desire to be close to another person.
Lust: Intense sexual desire or appetite that may or may not be reciprocated.
