Definition

Overproduction refers to an excessive production or generation of something beyond what is considered normal or balanced.

Analogy

Imagine you ordered a pizza for a party and expected the usual amount of slices - 8 slices per pizza. However, the delivery person accidentally brings you 16 extra pizzas! Now you have way more than you need - an overproduction of pizza!
