Molecular Genetics

Definition

Molecular genetics is the field of biology and genetics that studies the structure and function of genes at a molecular level. It primarily focuses on how genes are transferred from generation to generation.

Analogy

Think of molecular genetics like a recipe book for your body. Each gene is a different recipe, instructing your cells on how to create specific proteins, just like recipes tell you how to make different dishes.
