Cornea: A transparent layer at the front of the eye that helps to refract (bend) incoming light before it reaches the lens.
Retina:The innermost layer of the eye that contains photoreceptor cells called rods and cones. The retina converts light into electrical signals that are sent to the brain for visual processing.
Accommodation:The process by which the shape of the lens changes to adjust its focus on objects at different distances.
