Late Adulthood
Definition
This is the final stage of human development, typically considered to begin around age 65. It's characterized by physical, cognitive, and social changes.
Analogy
Think of late adulthood as the autumn season of life. Just like leaves change colors in fall, people in their late adulthood experience significant transformations - some may face health challenges (like falling leaves), while others enjoy a peaceful retirement (akin to the calmness of an autumn afternoon).
