These are memories that we don't deliberately remember or reflect on consciously. They are typically formed from habits and other types of conditioning.
Think of implicit memories like your body's autopilot. For example, you don't have to consciously think about how to ride a bike or tie your shoelaces once you've learned it - you just do it automatically. That's your implicit memory at work!
Procedural Memory: This is a type of implicit memory that aids the performance of particular types of tasks without conscious awareness of these previous experiences.
Classical Conditioning: A learning process in which an innate response to a potent stimulus comes to be elicited in response to a previously neutral stimulus; this is often used in behavioral training.
Habituation: The diminishing of a physiological or emotional response to a frequently repeated stimulus.
