Giftedness
Definition
Giftedness refers to exceptional intelligence or talent far above average compared to peers. It can be seen across various domains such as intellectual ability, creativity, artistic talent, leadership capacity etc.
Analogy
Imagine if everyone has a toolbox they use for solving problems and creating things. Most people have basic tools like hammers and screwdrivers (average abilities). But gifted individuals have power tools and high-tech gadgets (exceptional abilities) that allow them to work faster, more efficiently, or at a higher level than others.
