Fixed Interval

Definition

A fixed interval is a schedule of reinforcement where the first response is rewarded only after a specified amount of time has elapsed.

Analogy

Think of it like waiting for your favorite TV show to air. It comes on at the same time every week, and no matter how much you want it to come on sooner, you have to wait for that specific day and time.
