Change blindness is a surprising perceptual phenomenon that occurs when a change in visual stimulus goes unnoticed by the observer.
Think about watching one of those "spot the difference" games where two pictures look identical but have subtle differences. Sometimes, it takes us ages to spot these changes because our brain doesn't immediately register them - this is similar to change blindness!
Visual Perception: The ability to interpret surrounding environment using light in the visible spectrum reflected by objects.
Attentional Blink: A brief period after perceiving one stimulus, during which it is difficult to attend fully to another stimulus.
Saccadic Masking (also known as Saccadic Suppression): A phenomenon where visual perception is impaired before and during quick eye movements.
