Definition

Biological preparedness refers to our innate readiness or predisposition to learn certain associations because they have been particularly adaptive for survival.

Analogy

Imagine if humans were computers. Biological preparedness would be like pre-installed software that helps us respond quickly and effectively to certain inputs from our environment, such as fearing dangerous animals or avoiding spoiled food.
