Biases are preconceived notions or prejudices that can influence our thinking, decision-making, and interactions. They can be conscious (known) or unconscious (unknown).
Think of biases like a pair of tinted glasses. If you're wearing blue-tinted glasses, everything you see will have a blue hue to it. Similarly, if you have a bias towards something, your perception and understanding of it will be influenced by that bias.
Stereotype: A generalized belief about a particular group of people.
Prejudice: An unjustified negative attitude towards an individual based on their membership in a certain group.
Discrimination: Unjustifiable negative behavior toward a group or its members based on their categorization.
