Aphasia is like trying to read a book in a language you don't understand. You can see the words and know they mean something, but you just can't make sense of them.
Stroke: A medical condition in which poor blood flow to the brain results in cell death.
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI): A form of acquired brain injury that happens when a sudden trauma causes damage to the brain.
