Magnetic Fields

Definition

Magnetic fields are regions in space where magnetic forces can be detected. They are created by moving electric charges and exert a force on other moving charges or magnetic materials.

Analogy

Imagine a giant invisible spiderweb that fills the space around a magnet. When you place another magnet or a piece of iron near it, it gets caught in the spiderweb and is pulled towards the first magnet.
