Joules/Coulomb is the unit of electric potential, also known as voltage. It represents the amount of energy per unit charge.
Think of Joules/Coulomb as a "charge taxi fare." Just like how you pay for a taxi ride based on the distance traveled, in electricity, you pay for the energy used based on the amount of charge moved.
Electric Potential Energy: The energy that a charged object possesses due to its position in an electric field.
Electric Field: A region around a charged object where another charged object experiences a force.
Voltage Difference: The difference in electric potential between two points in an electric circuit.
