Definition

Velocity-time graphs show the relationship between velocity and time for an object. They represent how an object's velocity changes over a given period of time.

Analogy

Imagine you are driving a car and your speedometer is showing your velocity at different points in time. The graph of your speedometer readings would be similar to a velocity-time graph.
