Systems of Equations

Definition

Systems of equations involve multiple equations with multiple variables that are solved simultaneously to find their values. In physics, systems of equations are often used to solve problems involving multiple unknowns.

Analogy

Think of systems of equations as solving puzzles with interconnected pieces. Each equation represents a piece of information needed to complete the puzzle, and solving the system means finding values that fit together perfectly.

Related terms
