Maximum height

Definition

Maximum height refers to the highest point reached by an object in projectile motion, such as when an object is thrown into the air and falls back down due to gravity.

Analogy

Imagine throwing a ball straight up into the air. The maximum height is like reaching your arm up as high as possible before catching it again. It's when you can't throw it any higher and it starts coming back down.
