The center of gravity is the point in an object or system where its weight can be considered to act. It is the average position at which gravitational forces act on all parts of the object.
Imagine a gymnast performing a balance beam routine. The center of gravity is like their body's balance point, allowing them to maintain stability and control while performing various movements.
Stability: The ability of an object to return to its original position after being disturbed.
Equilibrium: A state in which all forces acting on an object are balanced, resulting in no net acceleration.
Lever Arm: The perpendicular distance between a pivot point (fulcrum) and the line along which a force acts.
