Definition

Tesla is the unit used to measure the strength of a magnetic field. One tesla is equal to one newton per ampere-meter.

Analogy

Imagine trying to hold onto your friend's super strong magnet while they pull it away from you with all their might. The amount of force they exert on that magnet is measured in teslas.
