A magnetic field is a region in space where a magnetic force can be detected. It is created by moving electric charges or by magnets.
Imagine a giant invisible magnet surrounding you, with its lines of force extending outwards. Just like how iron filings align along the lines of a magnet, charged particles also experience forces and align themselves within a magnetic field.
Electric field: A region in space around an electric charge where an electric force can be detected.
Magnetic flux: The measure of the number of magnetic field lines passing through a given area.
Electromagnetism: The study of the relationship between electricity and magnetism.
