Definition

Watts is the unit of power, which measures how quickly work is done or energy is transferred. It represents the rate at which energy is used or produced.

Analogy

Think of watts as the speed at which your phone charges. Just like a higher wattage charger charges your phone faster, a higher number of watts means more power is being used or produced.
