Positive Charge

Definition

Positive charge refers to an excess of protons or a deficiency of electrons in an object, resulting in a net positive electric charge. Objects with positive charge repel other positively charged objects and attract negatively charged objects.

Analogy

Think of positive charge as being like a superhero's magnetism power. Just as the superhero can repel other superheroes with the same power but attract those with opposite powers, positive charges repel other positive charges but attract negative charges.
