Magnetism is a force that attracts or repels certain materials, such as iron or steel. It is caused by the movement of electric charges.
Imagine magnetism as a superpower that some objects have. Just like how magnets can attract or repel each other, this force can make objects stick together or push them apart.
Magnetic Field: A region around a magnet where its magnetic force can be felt.
Electromagnet: A temporary magnet created by passing an electric current through a coil of wire wrapped around an iron core.
Magnetic Pole: The ends of a magnet where the magnetic force is strongest (north and south poles).
