Antinodes are points in a wave where there is maximum displacement or amplitude. They occur when two waves interfere constructively, resulting in reinforcement of their amplitudes.
Imagine jumping on a trampoline with your friend simultaneously at different locations. The areas where your jumps combine and create higher bounces represent antinodes, where the amplitude of the wave is maximized.
Wavelength: Wavelength refers to the distance between two consecutive antinodes (or nodes) in a wave.
Standing Wave: A standing wave occurs when two waves with equal frequency and amplitude traveling in opposite directions interfere constructively and form stationary patterns.
Harmonics: Harmonics are multiples of the fundamental frequency produced by vibrating objects, such as strings or air columns.
