A dotted eighth note is a musical note that lasts for one and a half beats. It consists of an eighth note with a dot placed next to it, which adds three-quarters of its original value to the note.
Sixteenth Note: A sixteenth note is half the duration of an eighth note, lasting for half a beat.
Quarter Note: A quarter note is twice the duration of an eighth note, lasting for one beat.
Half Note: A half-note is twice the duration of a quarter-note, lasting for two beats.
