Definition

War and Empire refer to the military conflicts fought by ancient Romans in order to expand their territory and establish dominance over other nations. These wars played a significant role in shaping Roman history.

Analogy

Imagine war as a game of chess where each move represents a battle or conquest. Just like chess players strategize their moves, Romans strategized their military campaigns in order to conquer new lands.
