Punic War

Definition

The Punic War refers to a series of conflicts between Rome and Carthage that took place from 264 BCE to 146 BCE. These wars were fought for control over the Mediterranean and resulted in the eventual destruction of Carthage.

Analogy

Imagine two powerful video game clans battling it out for dominance over a virtual world. They fight multiple times, each time trying to gain control over different territories until one clan is completely defeated.
