Linguaggio refers to language or communication. It encompasses both verbal and non-verbal forms of expression used by individuals or groups to convey meaning.
Think of linguaggio as an artist's palette with different colors representing various forms of communication - spoken words, gestures, facial expressions, and body language. Just like an artist uses different colors to create a masterpiece, individuals use linguaggio to express themselves and connect with others.
Lingua madre (mother tongue): The first language learned by an individual, typically spoken at home.
Comunicazione non verbale (non-verbal communication): Expressing thoughts or emotions without using words, such as through gestures or facial expressions.
Dialetto (dialect): A regional or local variation of a language that differs in pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar.
