Rights refer to entitlements or privileges granted by an authority such as the government. Duties are responsibilities or tasks that an individual is expected to perform or fulfill.
Imagine being at a concert. Your ticket (right) grants you access to enjoy the music but you also have duties like not disturbing others around you and following venue rules.
Civil Rights: These are rights granted by nations to their citizens protecting them from infringement by governments, social organizations, and private individuals.
Human Rights: These are basic rights believed to belong justifiably to every person regardless of nationality, sex, ethnicity etc., often protected internationally through treaties and conventions.
Legal Obligations: These refer to responsibilities enforced by law on an individual or entity.
