Definition

Political boundaries are imaginary lines that separate different regions based on governmental or social structures. They can be local, national, or international borders.

Analogy

Imagine your school's campus map with different zones for classrooms, cafeteria, library etc. Each zone serves a different purpose just like how countries have their own laws and governance separated by political boundaries.
