The physical environment refers to all non-human-made aspects around us including landforms, climate conditions, plants and animals.
Imagine being dropped into Minecraft with no buildings or structures around – just mountains, rivers and trees. That’s essentially what we mean by physical environment – it’s everything natural around us before human intervention.
Biome: A biome is a large community of flora and fauna occupying major habitats e.g., tropical rainforest or tundra.
Ecosystems: These are communities formed by interaction between living organisms (plants and animals) and their physical environment.
Topography: This refers to the arrangement of physical features of an area.
