Habitat destruction is the process by which natural habitat is rendered unable to support its native species. In this process, plants and animals which used to live there are displaced or die out.
Imagine if someone came into your house one day while you were out and completely rearranged everything - moved all your furniture around, took away some rooms entirely... You'd come home and wouldn't know where anything was! That's what habitat destruction does to wildlife; it takes away their homes and leaves them nowhere to go.
Deforestation: The removal or clearing of trees from forests without sufficient reforestation.
Urbanization: The process by which towns and cities are formed and become larger as more people begin living closer together in areas where there were not many people before.
Endangered Species: Species that have been categorized as likely to become extinct.
