Gender inequality refers to unequal treatment or perceptions of individuals based on their gender. It arises from differences in socially constructed gender roles.

Analogy

Imagine if you were playing a game where boys always start with extra points just because they're boys. That wouldn't be fair, right? That's what gender inequality is like - it's an unfair advantage or disadvantage given based on whether someone is male or female.
